Policies
Our aim is to provide a safe, grounding, and supportive space for our students. We believe that providing a reprieve from the hectic day-to-day routine lies in the details. Please read on for our studio policies, which help to foster mindful practices that allow everyone to enjoy this community space.
Pre-Registration
Booking opens 30 days before the class date.
You can book online using the Momoyoga app or website.
As of November 1, 2025, we now accept walk-ins. Special events, workshops and pop-ups may require advance registration. It is recommended (but not required) that students register in advance for Aerial Yoga classes, to assure that there is a silk available. Walk-ins will receive a silk on a first-come first-served basis, as long as there is one available.
Cancellation Policy
The studio reserves the right to cancel a class if only one student is registered for it.
You can cancel your class booking using the Momoyoga app up to three hours before the start of class for a full refund. Please note that we do not accept email, social media messaging or phone cancellations.
If you did not cancel your booking in advance and are a no-show for class, the class will not be refunded. Please understand that space in our classes is limited, and not cancelling in advance or being a no-show takes the spot from someone else.
If you are on the waitlist and know you do not plan to come to class, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
In the rare case of a serious emergency that prevents you from attending your class booking, please call or email us to let us know and we will manage your booking.
Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy
When there is inclement weather, we will do our best to cancel classes at least 1 hour before class start time. When a class is cancelled, all pre-registered students will receive an email. The class will also show up as cancelled on the Momoyoga app and website. Additionally, we will post the cancellation on our Instagram and Facebook social media sites. Follow us to ensure you receive live updates. Please understand that the decision to close due to inclement weather is a tricky one. Our goal is to keep our teachers and students safe. Students will be refunded for any classes that the studio has to cancel.
Waitlist
When a class is full, you can add yourself to our waitlist. Treat your waitlist like a class booking. When a cancellation is made, the student who is next in line will be signed up automatically and receive a message via email.
Once you are added to the class from the waitlist, you are responsible for attending or cancelling like any other reservation.
Arrival Time
Plan to arrive about 10 minutes before the start of class to get settled and checked in. This is especially important for Aerial Yoga classes so we can ensure your silk is rigged at the proper height for you.
Late Policy
To ensure a safe and positive class experience for everyone, the studio door will be locked at the start of class. We will not permit students to enter after class has begun. If you arrive late and the door is locked, you will not be permitted to enter, and you will not be refunded for the class.
Keeping Our Studio Clean
In order to provide a clean and enjoyable experience for everyone, shoes are not allowed in the studio. Please place shoes in a cubby or on a boot tray upon entering.
(Adult classes) If you used one of the studio mats, please use the cleaning spray and cloth to wipe down your mat after class. Return all studio equipment to the storage shelving.
Aerial Yoga Policies
When taking an Aerial Yoga Class, please remove all jewelry before the start of class (earrings, bracelets, rings) as they will snag and rip the silks. Also, please wear soft clothing that is free of zippers, snaps, or anything that would damage the silks. Jeans (pants or shorts) are not appropriate for Aerial Yoga. The studio reserves the right to cancel your booking if this policy is not followed.
Children’s Classes
Unless a class is designed for parents to attend (e.g., Family Yoga, Baby and Me, Toddler Yoga), parents are asked to drop students off at the studio. This “Kiss and Go” policy will allow a timely start to our classes and help prevent children from becoming distracted by other adults in the room.
Class Cards
Class cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. Class cards also have an expiration date. Please note the expiration upon purchase.
Birthday Parties
In order to book a birthday party, you must call the studio to discuss the nature of the desired party. A contract will be given for you to sign upon booking. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance is due before the start time on the day of the party. Please note that the rate for an Aerial Yoga birthday party may differ from a “mat” birthday party.
Yoga Camps
Pre-registration is required for all camps. You will also be asked to fill out a Google Registration form for additional information. Camps are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the start date, minus credit card fees.
No refunds will be provided after 4 weeks prior to the start of camp.
After School Yoga and Homework Help/ Children’s Classes
While it is understood that many students now have cell phones, the studio policy is that all children’s cellphones be placed on silent and stowed in a backpack. Cellphone use during the program/class is prohibited. Students who use their phones will have them taken and given to the parent at pickup.
Yoga Etiquette
We want all our students to have a relaxing and peaceful experience. While in the studio, please leave your phone or electronic devices in your purse, coat, or shoe cubby. Phones should be placed on silent. If you wear a smartwatch, it should be placed on silent, with notifications turned off.
Once you are in the practice space, collect your props and get settled with sensitivity to others in the room. As a rule of thumb, this means being relatively quiet.
Adult classes: Try to avoid walking on other students’ mats when moving around the studio.
Please do not record yourself during class. While the intention may be to capture yourself, you may inadvertently photograph or film someone else without permission. It also creates a distraction for others.
Miscellaneous
Elevate and Play Yoga reserves the right to combine or cancel classes, or modify teachers.
